Get To Know The Owners
Seth & Mary Martin
Our names are Seth and Mary Martin, and we have a growing family of four under the age of seven. Our oldest two are in the picture (left) and we've had a little girl and boy since this photo. Seth and Mary have both been full-time at The Clay House Lodging and Catering since January 2024. The business started as a parttime mobile coffee bar, and then became a bed and breakfast, and then grew yet again into a full-service catering company and local cafe. Our drive for business has always been rooted in hospitality and exciting food / drink combinations.
After we were married in October 2017, it became a dream of ours to be full-time together so that we could turn our ambitions toward the same direction-- ultimately spending more time together. The catering and cafe parts of our business allowed us to work together and to raise a family while doing it.
Whether we are making dinner for a 200 person wedding, serving a coffee bar at an event, welcoming guests into our home/bed n breakfast, or memorizing the orders of our cafe regulars, the team at The Clay House is dedicated to creating good memories -- which are always best when done with a heart of Christ-like hospitality. As our team grows, Seth and I are focusing on serving our team members while the amazing Clay House family works hard to serve you.
